LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the new room!!! I fell in love with that fabric when I was designing Caroline's nursery too! I have that same striped fabric in my stash at home too! I made Caroline a bow board to display her bows (but it hangs in the closet, lol). As far as the bookshelf, what about doing a bookshelf ladder (like Pottery Barn) that hangs on the wall and doesn't take up floor space. I have a friend that has one and it is super cute.

Great post again today! I too love your parent's swimming pool...it looks amazing!! I would LOVE the covered patio; can you imagine the great pool parties and bbq's?? Oh yeah, not about me! LOL!! I thought of you this morning when I was trying to tell Tim a story. He finally just told me, "Can you hurry up? Your stories take FOREVER and I have a short attention span!" I LOVE this idea! We will definitely have to do this for Friday night movie night! We just did a toy story one, but I want to split it up so we can watch both before we go see the third one in the movies! Other than that, I have had a hard time coming up with summer movie ideas! I'll have to look at blockbuster for the bug one! Keep sharing those ideas so I can steal them!:)

there is a wonder pets show that has lighting bugs in it - they use their lights to help save the owl... it's cute and i can so see you now thinking up a grand lightening bug theme night at the gilreath house!

just think - dirt cake with some yummy worms/bugs mixed in... supper on the back patio with little lanterns - maybe create little 'bugs' out of chicken nuggets and veggies? - i'm sure you couls so pull this off :)

Funny post! I kinda know what you mean about the 'changing of a parent'. I used to do the same thing with Caroline, change her immediately/wash her face/brush her hair....But, now I actually think about the day's activities and base my decision around that! LOL!! Since Little Bit is so great at finding markers, maybe I should have her come over and help me find my keys when I've lost them! :)

Too funny! I went through the same thing several months ago. I was lucky that Tim was out of town and was able to trash alot of junk!!! I had been trying to trash the same stuff for several years! LOL! I made sure this time the trash came before he came home, hahahahahhaaha!!!

You should also post 'before/after' pics...it's quite motivating! :)

Use peroxide. It works like a charm. Charlie has been having nose bleeds really badly a lot lately. I get him up and there is blood all over him and his sheets. I have found if you pour peroxide on the blood before you wash it, it will dissolve it instantly. Then wash it as normal. I don't know about your couch. You might try the peroxide in a hidden spot. Then blot with a wet towel. See what happens.

Your monogram pics looks great! I finally talked my mom into 'parting' with her machine, but IT'S BROKEN! The computer screen needs to be realigned (more money!!!). I love the font you used too! I need to hook up with you so you can teach me how to do some cute beach towels for Caroline when I get my machine fixed. Oh, and where did you get that ADORABLE flipflop smocked dress? Tammy, I had almost the same experience at Home Depot. I was buying those brick edger things too. And not a soul asked to help me. I was beyond frustrated. The next day I went to Wal-Mart to buy bags of dirt (it is stinkin cheap there). Low and behold they had the same bricks for the same price that I had bought at HD the day before. A man promptly walked out with me to load my bricks and my dirt. Amazing!
Also, thanks for the warning on Tv's. If anything happens to ours, I will now check my cable box first. Thank of all the people you are helping with your PSA.
